Bashir has been appointed Logistics Manager at Nationwide. |
Nationwide,
the UKšs leading supplier of powered access equipment for
hire, has appointed Taraq Bashir to the new position of
Logistics Manager.
"Nationwide
has grown at a phenomenal rate and is planning to maintain
that growth in the future, so there will be some interesting
logistics challenges ahead which I am looking forward to
meeting," said Mr Bashir.
Nationwide
currently has a fleet of more than 5,000 boom and scissor
lifts and truck-mounted units, which operate from a network
of over 50 depots.
Mr
Bashir was previously Business Improvement Director at Hays
Logistics and before that was Regional Operations Manager
with GKN Chep, which hires out handling equipment for the
logistics industry.
He
began his career with Marconi as a production engineer,
later becoming divisional manufacturing manager with the
company.
