Six
Nationwide scissor lifts were hired by NG Bailey & Co,
one of the UK's largest independent building services contractors,
for refurbishment work on a retail park in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.
The
X26 scissors were specified because their closed height
of only 1.98 metres meant they were able to pass through
doorways with limited headroom in the McArthur Glen Retail
Park.
Electrically
powered for fume-free operation and with a working height
of 10 metres, the scissor lifts were used by NG Bailey to
re-route ducting and also carry out electrical installation
work.
The
main contractors for the project are Galliford Northern.
The powered access units were ordered by NG Bailey through
Nationwide's central hire desk and were supplied by the
companyıs Leicester, Stoke, Shrewsbury and Sheffield depots.
