Nationwide Access, part of Lavendon Group, is the largest provider of powered access machines in Europe.
The company has over 6,000 access machines in the UK, comprising of booms, scissor lifts and truck mounts ranging from 6m - 72m high.
Nationwide Access's 17m, 9250 diesel scissor lift is seen here being used by Condor Cargo Technik for maintenance work on the MD11 aircraft based at East Midlands Airport.
The 50' scissor is on permanent hire from the Lutterworth based powered access company for general maintenance work. In response to the increasing demand for long term hires, particularly in the industrial maintenance sector, Nationwide Access has transferred 2 LL17E electric, 19m working height scissor lifts from sister company Zooom France. These machines are very rare within the UK market and provide an ideal alternative to similar sized diesel variants when working indoors or in confined areas.
