| What is Power Guard Gold? |
| Power Guard Gold offers you protection from the costs arising from accidental damage. Despite everyone's best efforts, machines can be accidentally damaged in use. |
Joining the Gold Scheme means: |
- Accidental damage costs waived if the driver is deemed not to be negligent. These can be very high, particularly if there is severe structural damage or the electronic or hydraulic systems are affected.
- No unforseen damage charges which can cause project costs to over-run.
- No management time wasted in disputes and haggling over the bill for damage.
- No need to claim on a separate insurance policy and then possibly discover that the excess on that policy exceeds the cost of the damage.

| Available as an upgrade, Power Guard Platinum offers you all the accidental damage benefits of the Gold scheme plus some important extras. |
Joining the Platinum Scheme means: |
- Major thefts of large items of capital plant are on the increase. The Platinum scheme protects the hirer from theft provided the machine is stored in a secured, locked area when not in use - all the hirer has to do is make a formal report to the Police as soon as the theft is discovered.
- Vandalism and malicious damage occuring during normal working hours are also included.
- If the operator is negligent and causes accidental damage to the hired equipment there are no charges to pay for repairs.
