Scissor Lifts: The work platform of a scissor lift is mounted on a scissor-like mechanism and can have a capacity of up to one tonne.

The platform has a larger working area than that of a boom lift, and is able to accommodate heavier loads. Scissor lifts range in size from small units for internal use through to very large units for external applications.
